I want to be a CRICKETR

Keegan LOVES cricket, whether he's watching it or playing it. If we allowed, he would decorate his entire bedroom in green and gold with cricket posters everywhere. He carries a tennis ball when we go to church or the shops or the library on the off-chance that he might get some bowling or catching practice done.

One of our laments in moving to Hong Kong was that Keegan would be unable to improve his cricket skills as it would be unlikely that there would be much interest in cricket here. Well, once again the Lord has blessed us with immeasurably more than we hoped or imagined. We found a cricket training course for Keegan, and the best thing about it is that it's right here in in Tai Po! For the last two Sunday afternoons, Keegan has been attending a lesson from 4:30-6:00 in the afternoon. He is learning with a group of girls and boys from various countries aged from 6-12 years, so he is the youngest member. He has two fantastic coaches, and these lessons are definitely the highlight of his week.

Keegan explained that this game was a mixture of baseball and cricket with four bases/wickets.
