The coolest game in Asia (by Keegan)

On Saturday I had a sleep in the afternoon, so I could go to two ice hockey games that night. I was very excited because I had never seen ice hockey in real life before. Dad and I took the bus to Megabox and had tea at McDonalds. The first game was between the Hong Kong Tycoons and the Macau Aces. Hong Kong won which I was happy about. Then the next game was between South China Sharks and the Kowloon Warriors. There was a big biff in the second game and a five minute penalty! Some of my friends were at the games, including Elliot and some people from ICS. I got two signatures from players.

Before the game Dad and I went to the player's box and met some players. This is a photo of me with the Hong Kong Tycoons goalie, Dean Tzembelicos.

I saw Mr Tan (my class teacher last year) and Mr Hardy (my PE teacher) from my school.

This is Jeff Griffin, a forward with the Macau Aces giving me his autograph.

I had such a nice time out with my Dad. We love to watch all kinds of sports together.

We got home after mid-night and I can't wait to go back.

PS Thank you Mr T for our free tickets!

  1. He is so like his dad! It doesn't matter what sport it is as long as it begins with sp and ends with ort. Glad they had a great time.

  2. Dear Keegan,
I enjoyed reading about the Ice Hockey game. What a fun night ...out with the boys!Tell me if there were any left-handed ice hockey players playing?Would you play left handed or right handed like me?Actually I would NEVER be playing icehockey anyhow because of the skating bit, just a slight problem,I reckon!XXXX M
