Lately we have been trying some new games during our Family Games Nights. Here are some of our new favourites:
We first played Sequence with the Peets in Wellington last July. This edition of the game was bought by a friend on the Central Coast of New South Wales and hand-delivered to Craig at a conference in Korea. (Thanks, Paul!)
Sequence is a board and card game. Players compete to create rows, columns or diagonals of 5 connected checkers. The box says it is for ages seven and up, but Keegan thoroughly enjoys it at six.
This game, Pictureka, we bought here in Hong Kong. It's a fun version of hide and seek.
How many alphabet letters can you spot? What about things with wings? First one to spy a strawberry shouts, "Pictureka!"
Jemilla's teacher lent us this game called "Scene it".
It's a DVD game with an accompanying board that quizzes players on all things Disney.
Do you recognise the Disney movie on the screen?
Glad to see you have Sequence! We brought it with us on holidays and played it night after night with Cheryl and Steve and the neighbours!
ReplyDeleteAnother favourite of our at the moment is Set. We gave it to the girls for Christmas - it is an excellent card game that really makes you think. I highly recommend you get it. (I purchased it from games paradise online).
Missing you all...
We enjoy Sequence, too, but the other games are new to me. Recently we were introduced to Tripoley which we really enjoyed.
ReplyDeleteJordan has three different versions of Scene it...I like the music version.
ReplyDeleteWe have been enjoying Cluedo and our Disney Uno that we bought in HK :)
