Scitech

As most of Australian students are still in school, we decided to visit Scitech today when it would be quieter. The children love this hands-on science centre in Perth and remember it well from two years ago.

Keegan and Tirzah used pulleys and planes to build a wall with foam bricks.

Jemilla made beautiful music on this laser harp.

Tirzah danced in front of the distortion mirrors.

Keegan discovered which were the hottest and coolest parts of his body through infrared imagery.

Tirzah worked various machines to move balls around a circuit.

Carla, this was the exhibition I thought your boys would enjoy. It's called "Whodunit? Murder Mystery in Menagerie Park". Jemilla used forensic science such as finger-printing, chromatography, autopsies, entomology, footprints and DNA samples to gather evidence in her crime file and solve the crime.  She even learned how to analyse animal poo!
