Glass Chapel Wedding

Today the children and I attended the wedding of the ICS Literacy Specialist, Priscilla Bailey. It was in a very romantic location in Kowloon Tong called the Glass chapel. (I believe Jemilla has plans to come back and get married here herself one day!)

Jemilla's highlight of the day, she said, was borrowing my green handbag and feeling "like a grown up lady".

Even the men's urinal managed to look romantic!

This photo is for you, Mary.

Tirzah's highlight of the wedding was the dessert buffet.

Keegan liked the never-ending supply of punch. (Plus, he got to wear hair gel "just like Mr Tan"!)

This was a game engineered by Tim Wong to encourage the bridal couple to keep things "fresh and fun" in their marriage. Three couples were wrapped together in cling wrap and told to race to the opposite end of the banquet hall and back.

As soon as Tim said, "Go!", Ben Norton just picked up Janice and carried her the whole way. The kids thought it was hilarious. Needless to say, the Nortons won by a mile.

  1. That was a beautiful chapel! It would be great to worship at Easter there! I've never seen games at a wedding but it looked like you had lots of fun!
