Keegan's recent photos

Keegan likes hanging out with Harrison and Nathaniel Wise.

This was a magic show at the Norwegian International School Open Day.

Mother's Day Lunch at Day Ryan's.

Keegan rode all the way from Forest Hill to his school at Shek Mun.

Then he celebrated his long ride with a special treat at McDonalds.

Keegan's art work was on display at school. He stitched a letter "K" in green and gold thread.

Keegan's 2A class celebrated the end of the school year with a party.

The students sang a song for all the parents at the awards ceremony.

Keegan received an ESLR character award for "good humour". His teacher wrote the following about him: "Keegan has a happy outlook, is able to make light of a situation and thoroughly enjoys a good joke. This makes him the worthy recipient of the good humour award."

Tirzah's recent photos

Here are some photos of Tirzah at school during their theme on plants and flowers. (Most of the pictures are from winter time, as you can see from Tirzah's uniform. We are well and truly into summer now!)

This photo was taken during Open Day at the Norwegian International School in Tai Po.

Last week Tirzah celebrated the end of the school year with her R1D classmates and teacher, Mrs Davis, pictured here.

The children sang "Trust and Obey" for their parents.

On Friday we visited the Wong's house where we were treated to an impromptu magic show by Mr Wong. Tirzah was absolutely delighted to be his assistant and hold the magic wand.

Mr Wong gifted Tirzah with the magic wand, and she has been practicing her one and only magic trick every waking moment since then.

 And every sleeping moment too!

Disneyland field trip

Yesterday, Jemilla's fourth grade class had a field trip to Hong Kong Disneyland. It wasn't a wild, free-for-all day on the rides, however. The students participated in a difficult scavenger hunt, searching for specific clues all over the theme park. These are some of the photos that Jemilla took with her team. I am quite proud of her photography skills!

Crazy Hair Day

I must admit that it took a while to get ready for school this morning, what with all the balloons to attach! (Thank you Brianna Peet for the excellent idea!)

Keegan wanted to spray his hair green and gold, but his class had a planned swim party, so he slicked his hair into a sort of mohawk instead.

Introducing Larry Boy

This is Larry Boy, a three-legged hamster who is staying in our apartment for the summer holidays. Jemilla offered to look after him for the teacher who will be away.

I am in doubt whether Larry-Boy will survive all the attention from our three children during his stay with the Harveys!
