The Grade Five students at International Christian School recently completed an art project on the subject of "The Shadow of Hands". As a lover of sign language, I was especially impressed with the work and asked permission to photograph some of the students' art to show my Deaf friends.

Just wonderful art work,Renee. I am glad that you photographed them. I was very sad, however, as I remembered all those children in Sierra Leone who had their hands cut off.
ReplyDeleteI too love the artwork, and I'm very impressed at the standard of grade 5 (although had to laugh at one student who got carried away with burning the edges!)
ReplyDeleteManou, I feel sick thinking about what you wrote. We live in a world so distorted from how God intended it to be. Come Lord Jesus, come.
I'm SO impressed by the artwork! They must have received really good art direction to draw so well, so congratulations to their teacher(s)!
ReplyDeleteI have now shown Jacqui those hands Jacqui says she loves them very much and thanks you for them God Bless.
