Return to Disneyland

You may remember our family trip to Hong Kong Disneyland in May, courtesy of some free tickets. My niece Elora turned 11 years old on June 16, so we celebrated her birthday in a way she will always remember...at Disneyland. I think we packed in more rides and shows during this visit. It was so much fun for the children to spend the day together at such a fantastic place!

On the shuttle bus from Forest Hill...

The train to Sunny Bay...Tirzah (2) Jemilla (7) Delenn (2), Elora (11), Keegan (5), Bowen (8), and Flynn (5)

The weather forecast was for occasional showers, but it hardly rained at all. It may have kept the crowds away, as today was a public holiday in Hong Kong for the Dragon Boat Festival but Disneyland wasn't very busy at all.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

It's very common for Chinese people to ask to pose with our kids, particularly Tirzah. You can read a humorous account of the phenomenon here. So for one day only, Disneyland visitors can get photos with Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, Cinderella, Buzz and... Keegan and Bowen.

  1. Looks like lots of fun (if you like Disney!)

I love seeing the hilarious poses Tirzah makes -- obviously she has learned from SOMEBODY how to make faces for the camera!

  3. Am just so pleased that you ALL went again. No doubt it paid to be street wise. Did anyone go to school on Thursday?
