Easter craft number four

This is the last of the Easter crafts I will feature this month. The tomb is another simple craft I did with my class and also with Tirzah at home. She cut a paper plate in half and cut out a little doorway. She painted both sides off the paper plate and when they were dry we taped them together (stapling works too). Tirzah pasted a piece of paper in the opening of the tomb which reads "Jesus is alive"; for older children you can use the actual verse from Matthew 28:6. Then we cut out a "stone" from cardboard and used a split pin type of fastener to attach it to our tomb. The stone can then be rolled away to reveal the message in the doorway.

Something to ponder...
