Dancing with the angels

Today I received an email telling me that my dear friend/father-figure/mentor Alec Law went to be with the Lord this morning.

I grieve for Anne and the loss of such a wonderful person in all our lives.

But if I know Alec, as soon as he's basked in the glory of God and gotten a hug from Jesus, he'll be teaching the choir of angels a song or two in Auslan.

I'll miss you.

See you in Heaven, Alec!

DANCING WITH THE ANGELS by Monk & Neagle

Memories surround me
But sadness has found me
I’d do anything for more time
Never before has someone meant more
And I can’t get you out of my mind

There is so much that I don’t understand
But I know…

Chorus
You’re dancing with the angels
Walking in new life
You’re dancing with the angels
Heaven fills your eyes
Now that you’re dancing with the angels

You had love for your family
Love for all people
Love for the Father, and Son
Your heart will be heard
In your unspoken words
Through generations to come

There is so much that I don’t understand
But I know

Chorus

Bridge
We’re only here for such a short time
So I’m gonna’ stand up, shout out,
And sing Hallelujah
One day I’ll see you again and we will be...

  2. Renee'...we understand if you can't manage to sign this - if that is the case, could you either send or bring a copy of you signing it for us, so we can play that instead? Thanks. Janine

  6. Oh Renee, what a beautiful song - I cried the whole way through.

I will be praying for you at the funeral tomorrow - that you are able to sign as much as you need to without breaking down - that God will fill your heart with peace and that you will be able to grieve alongside those who have all loved Alec.

I was thrilled to read you have flown over, knowing how important it is for you to be there.

Sending all my love and lots of hugs,
    Amanda
