Saturday

Today, Lauren and I took the kids to The Peak, one of Hong Kong's most popular attractions. It's famous for its stunning views of the city skyline and great shopping and dining. We took the Peak Tram to the top and had a good look around.

On the tram.

This is the closest we have been to Hong Kong Disneyland, a ticket counter at The Peak.

Jemilla tried on this Chinese headdress in a souvenir shop.

What a big city we live in!

The sky was a bit hazy, but it was still an amazing view.

After The Peak we met up with Craig in time to see the "Moonlight Shadow Show" at a nearby shopping centre. Hans Davis from Belgium made his debut in Hong Kong this month to show his artistic and amazing hand shadow art. He used the theme of the moon, blending his shadows with music.

You can click here to watch Hans in action.

After the show we were still not too tired to venture out on the roof to see a musical fountain that Lauren had discovered earlier.

The trio of water and lights and music created a beautiful arrangement that was quite soothing.
