Lauren, I keep meaning to tell you that we finally bought a sideboard/ cupboard for just inside the entrance to our apartment. The drawers are for sunglasses and odds-and-ends. The footstool at the side has a hinged lid. It provides a comfy spot to sit and put on our shoes.
The shelves inside the cupboard are empty at the moment, but I might move our board games in there.
And, yes, Craig finally bought a desk for his study next to Tirzah's room. We found the furniture in a little shop near Tai Po Market, and the prices were better than IKEA.
